Dental Implants

Ross Anderson has been involved in Dental Implant Therapy for over 20 years, starting his initial training in London’s Harley Street in 2001. He then trained extensively with the International Team for Implantology (ITI) in London and Bern and has since placed hundreds of dental implants in happy patients.

The ITI is the most trusted implant professional body with a reputation for scientific rigour and strong patient focus. Ross was honoured to serve on the management committee of ITI (UK) as Study Club Director North England & Scotland, responsible for dental implant education, as well as running the Edinburgh ITI Study Club.

Ross only provides implants for his own patients, choosing not to offer a referral service. He knows that being responsible for all aspects of the implant journey—from the initial discussion through to the finished result—is the only way to ensure the best care for his patients.

Often, implants are the perfect solution, but not always. Ross takes a practical and ethical approach to implant provision—not every space needs to be filled and not everyone is best suited to implant therapy. But, if appropriate, he will guide you safely, painlessly, and trustingly through the process.

We use Straumann Implants because they are the global gold standard. Swiss designed and manufactured, these are—and always have been—the best. We use these exclusively at Anderson Dentistry (cheaper alternatives are available elsewhere), and with three Straumann Implants in his own mouth, Ross knows what works.

At Anderson Dentistry, we are not advocates of same-day dental implants. As desirable as quick results may be for patients, shortcuts are not linked with long-term success. Following ITI guidance, we prefer a technique that follows extensive clinical testing for long-term results. We treat our patients the same way we treat our family using the best techniques and materials in the most skilled hands. Our aim is to provide a strong and beautiful smile that best suits you, not us.
