Useful Information

There is plenty of free on street parking outside the practice. However, if you need a little extra assistance reaching us feel free to phone ahead and we will be on hand to help with your arrival.

Should you need to change an appointment this can be done, quite simply, by contacting reception. However, it would be greatly appreciated if you could give us at least 48 hours of notice, as late cancellations and failure to attend appointments will incur a charge. We do understand that illness or an emergency cannot be predicted so we will make allowances in the hope that a similar courtesy will be shown to us in return.

To help you budget for your dental care we work in partnership with Highland Dental Plan to offer an affordable payment option:

Maintenance Plan from £17.94 per month

this plan covers your routine oral health assessments, x-rays and hygiene visits and offers a 10% deduction from the cost of any dental treatment required.

Please ask at reception for further information or have a chat with your dentist and hygienist.

We endeavour to offer a same day appointment to our patients if they call with a dental emergency. Please phone us on 01887 820441 as early in the day as possible.

If you experience a dental emergency in the evening, please leave a message on our answering machine and we will return your call by 830am the following morning. If your emergency occurs over the weekend call NHS 24 on 111 for 24 hour advice and, if necessary, an appointment can be scheduled at the Broxden Dental Emergency Clinic, Perth - open Saturday and Sunday 9am-12noon.

The last thing you want or need when on holiday is toothache! However, this does happen and we are on hand to help you. Please phone us on 01887 820441 and we will make sure your problem is looked at as soon as possible so you can get on with your holiday.

We strive to ensure that every patient has treatment carried out to the highest standard in a professional environment, within an empathetic atmosphere. If you are at all unhappy with respect to your dental treatment, or any aspect of your visit to us, we would hope that you feel able to tell us. We do have a dedicated person to speak to, Louise Patterson, who will do everything possible to resolve your complaint in a confidential, professional and timely manner. A copy of our complaints policy is available, please ask if you would like to see it.

£120 - New Patient Oral Health Assessment

Your first appointment will take 45 minutes during which time your teeth, gums, and any existing dental work will be thoroughly checked. We may also take small x-rays, with your consent, to examine the parts of the teeth that are not readily visible. An oral cancer screen of the soft tissues in the mouth is also carried out. This is an ideal time to ask any questions you may have and for your dentist and you to get to know each other.

£58 - Oral Health Check:

On average, we re-call our patients every 6 months for a check- up, however, this can vary dependent upon the individual need. This is to assess your ongoing oral health and monitor any changes so that we can work to prevent problems developing in the future.

£96+ - Hygienist Appointments:

Preventative care is the best option wherever possible and a visit to the hygienist, who is an expert in prevention, will support this. Your visit will include a thorough clean and removal of hard plaque deposits both above and below the gum line, and advice on how to maximize your home care to treat or prevent gum disease. We cannot stress enough how important this is for your overall oral health.

£119 - £344 - Metal-Free Fillings:

Following the removal of any old filling material and dental decay, we use mercury-free, tooth coloured filling material to restore your tooth to health, comfort, and full function. Be assured that we use the best materials available to ensure superior results. From £82 - £167

£3695+  - Dental Implants:

These can be used to replace one or all missing teeth or to support an unstable denture.

£602 - Tooth Whitening Therapy:

This is a safe and incredibly effective way to rejuvenate any smile. We use a variety of procedures to lighten your teeth as little or as much as you decide.

£838+  - Crowns:

When a tooth is heavily filled and showing signs of failing your dentist may advise on a crown, which is a tooth-like covering that strengthens and protects the remaining tooth - transforming old to new!

£798+ - CEREC:

Utilising the latest digital technology we can provide beautiful and strong metal-free tooth coloured crowns, onlays and veneers in a single visit.

£521 - £705 Root Canal Therapy:

We remove infection from the root canal using small files. The files used are all single use and are disposed of after your therapy. We strictly follow current regulations to eliminate the risk of transmitting disease through infected nerve tissue. This treatment saves the tooth from extraction and prolongs the life of your tooth.

£1780 - £2888 Partial and Full Dentures:

There are many options when it comes to choosing which denture is right for you. Whether some or all of your teeth are missing we can use impact resistant acrylic, durable cobalt chrome or flexible Valplast partial or full dentures to give you back your smile and function.

Please bear in mind that there are still varying options for your care, and your dentist will quote individually for this.
